Grow Your Community

Server Listing

Listing your server on DiscordForge is the fastest way to get new members. We support all types of communities, from gaming and anime to coding and chill.

Adding Your Server

To list your server, you must be the owner or have "Manage Server" permissions.

  1. Open the Menu and select Add.
  2. Choose Server from the submission options.
  3. Select the server you want to add from the list of your servers.
  4. Fill in the required information, including a description, tags, and invite link.
  5. Click Add Server to list it on DiscordForge!

Announcements

Highlight important server updates directly on your listing.

  • Visibility: Announcements are displayed prominently above your server description.
  • Markdown: Use Markdown to style your announcements with headers, lists, and links.
  • Management: Only you (the owner) can post, edit, or delete announcements.

Widgets

Embed your server status on your website.

Navigate to your server page, use the Actions menu, and choose Widget.

  • Copy custom HTML or Markdown code snippets.
  • Access the JSON API endpoint for raw server data.
  • Customizable colors and themes available via URL parameters (for advanced users).

Server Management

Keep your listing fresh. You can edit your description, update tags, or refresh your invite link at any time from the Dashboard.

Growth Tools

Forge Synergy

Partner up! Link your server with a related bot or server to display them as a "Perfect Match" on your profile.

Bumping Guide

Bumping pushes your server to the top of the "Recently Bumped" list on the homepage and category pages. Fresh bumps are one of the strongest signals for discovery, so stay consistent.

  • Use the /bump slash command in your server (our bot must be in the guild).
  • Or click the Bump button on your server's page here on DiscordForge.
  • Cooldown is tracked per user, not per server, so multiple members can keep your listing active.
  • Every successful bump is recorded and counts toward your server's lifetime bump score.

Cooldown by Tier

TierCooldown
Free2 hours
Premium1 hour
Forge30 min
Pioneer30 min

Pending servers cannot bump until they are approved. Make sure the bot has permission to read and send messages in the channel where members run /bump.

Tags & Categories

Using the right tags is essential for users to find you.

Categories

Broad classification like Gaming, Music, Social. Choose the one that fits best.

Tags

Specific keywords like "Minecraft", "Chill", "Roleplay". You can add up to 5 tags.

Vote Notifications

Get notified in your Discord server every time someone votes for your listing. Reward loyal voters with automatic role assignment.

Quick Setup
  1. Make sure the Forge bot is in your server.
  2. Run /integration setup and select your server.
  3. Choose a channel and optionally a reward role.
  4. Customize your message using placeholders like {username} and {votes.total}.
Vote Role Rewards

Automatically give voters a special role. Set a vote threshold (e.g., 5 votes) and the Forge bot handles the rest. Great for building a community of engaged supporters.

For full documentation on placeholders and advanced options, see the Developer Guide.
