AntiScamBot

A new Honeypot Protection module is now available in the AntiScamBot Dashboard.

Honeypots help identify compromised accounts and spam bots that automatically post across every available channel in a server. How It Works When enabled, AntiScamBot creates a public security channel with a clear warning not to post there.

If a member sends a message in that channel:

Their message is deleted immediately. AntiScamBot performs the action selected by your server staff. The event is recorded in your configured AntiScamBot log channel. Configurable Actions Server administrators can choose what happens after a Honeypot trigger:

Flag Only: Deletes the message and records the event for staff. Timeout: Deletes the message and temporarily restricts the member. Kick: Deletes the message and removes the member from the server. Ban: Deletes the message and bans the member. Staff Logging Honeypot events now receive a dedicated staff-log embed containing:

Member name, mention, and user ID. Honeypot channel. Whether the message was removed. Selected server response. Enforcement result. The submitted message content. Member Notifications When a member is timed out, kicked, or banned after triggering the Honeypot, AntiScamBot sends them an automated DM explaining that they posted in the server’s Honeypot channel.

Before Honeypot can be enabled, the dashboard verifies that AntiScamBot has the permissions needed for the selected action, including channel management, message deletion, and timeout/kick/ban permissions.

Set up Honeypot Protection from your server’s Dashboard → Safety Modules → Honeypot Protection.
